Car-Pedestrian Accident in South Everett Sends Man to Harborview

Traffic was snarled right at rush hour as after a car pedestrian accident at Airport Road and Highway 99. According to an Everett Police Sgt. on the scene, a man was walking in the cross walk around 5pm when he was struck by at least one vehicle. He was transported to Harborview by aid car with serious injuries. Police were kept busy as witnesses gave various accounts of whether the man had the crossing light or shouldn’t have been crossing. There was even confusion over which vehicle struck him. Police have reopened the intersection and are sorting out the stories.
