No Layoffs Expected as WA State Moves Everett Revenue Office to Bothell

The Washington State Department of Revenue has had an office in Everett for the last 30 years but that’s about to change as the Everett office, located at 9930 Evergreen Way, will be closed to save money. According to Department of Revenue Spokesman Mike Gowrylow, the staff at Everett will be transferred to the Bothell Office at the end of August. The move comes as the State consolidates operations to save money. The Everett office will officially close at 5pm on Friday August 26th with the staff up and running in Bothell on Tuesday August 30th. The Bothell office is located at 19800 North Creek Parkway, Suite 101.
