Former Bon Marche Tire Store Transformed Into Downtown Everett’s Newest Winery

Another winery in downtown Everett

Another winery for downtown Everett

After a lot of blood, sweat and tears, Chris and Linnea Covington are set to open their new Port Gardner Bay Winery in downtown Everett. For you old-timers, the winery is located at the site of the former Bon Marche Tire Center at the corner of Rockefeller and California across from the YMCA. Currently structural engineers and owners of Structural Design Associates, Chris and Linnea developed a taste for wine, began enjoying wines made by an employee of their engineering firm and made the leap from backyard wine makers to full producers with their own winery right in the heart of downtown Everett. They will have their official grand opening tomorrow afternoon at 4pm with live music, food and of course, wine. You can find more about Everett’s newest downtown winery by checking out their Facebook page or click on the logo to the left to visit their website.
