Sports Car Smashes into I-5 Scalehouse in South Everett During Morning Commute – Alcohol May Have Been a Factor-Update 2:51pm, State Patrol says possibly medical condition

Car crashes into weigh station

Troopers and medics attend to the driver

Update 2:50pm, WSP spokesman Keith Leary sent me a note this afternoon saying the man involved in the crash was a 50-year-old from Lynnwood who may have had a medical condition. The investigation is ongoing. Troopers and Fire crews were called to the Weigh Station just south of the Everett Mall on I-5 shortly before 6:00am to a report of a car into the building. One man was in the car and was taken to Providence Hospital with non life threatening injuries. WSP Sgt. Kirk Rudeen tells me alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. It remains under investigation and the Weigh Station will be out of service for some time. [ad#Google Adsense]
