- You have until 5pm Friday to File
The first day of filing for office in Snohomish County left a couple of questions. First, Where’s Aaron Reardon? Where’s Mike Hope? I know that candidates have until 5pm Friday to file but I found it unusual that neither Reardon or Mike Hope filed on the first day.
No challengers yet for any of the county-wide offices such as Treasurer, Auditor, Sheriff or Assessor. Brian Sullivan on the County Council is unchallenged while incumbent Stephanie Wright in district 3 is facing competition from PUD commissioner Kathy Vaughn.
For Everett City Council, Drew Nielsen has drawn Erv Hoglund as a challenger while Brenda Stonecipher looks to be facing Scott Bader. No challenger yet for Shannon Affholter while Ron Gipson has yet to file, June Robinson has put her name in for the position he currently holds.
