Craig Hartsburg is Everett's 3rd coach in 8 years
It’s looking more likely that the Everett Silvertips will be looking for a new head coach for their 9th season. The Calgary Herald today is quoting, Peter Hanlon, the NHL’s Calgary Flames vice-president of communications, as saying Hartsburg is a top candidate for a coaching position with their team. Another Canadian Sports website, Sportsnet.ca (think ESPN Canada), is claiming Hartsburg has already submitted his resignation. Hartsburg has only been with Everett two years and last year signed an extension of his contract thru the 2012-2013 season. If he does leave Everett, the Silvertips will join the Seattle Thunderbirds in searching for a new head coach.
