Arson Suspected in Fire at Everett Condos This Morning

Everett Police are looking for an arsonist this morning after a Jeep was set on fire in the carport underneath the Royale Condos at 3209 Hoyt in downtown Everett, WA. According to Rick Robinson from the Everett Fire Department, the fire was reported at 4:45am and the first firefighters found the Jeep fully involved. Residents were evacuated from the condos while the fire department made a quick knockdown of the fire. While soot spread over the north side of the building there didn’t appear to be much structural damage. Police used a K-9 to try to track a possible suspect but came up empty handed. Arson detectives are now taking over the investigation.
