Washington Stealth to defend NLL Title against Toronto

The Stealth will face Toronto next Sunday in the NLL Championship

For the second season in a row, the Washington Stealth, who play their home games at Comcast Arena Everett, will be playing for the National Lacrosse League Championship. Winners over Toronto for the NLL Championship last season, the Stealth defeated the Calgary Roughnecks 10-8 last night in Calgary to earn the chance to defend their title against the Toronto Rock. Last year’s championship game was played at Comcast Arena Everett while this year the Stealth will have to defend the title on the road. Here’s a re-cap of last night’s game from the National Lacrosse League’s web site.

The title game will be held next Sunday May 15th in Toronto. It will be televised nationally on the Versus Network starting at 11:00am our time.
