Here’s a message from the Salvation Army in Everett

Salvation Army Cold Weather Shelter Will Open Tuesday and Wednesday Nights
Serving Everett and Central Snohomish County
2525 Rucker Avenue, Everett WA 98201

Due to the extreme conditions forecast for Tuesday (02/22) and Wednesday (02/23), the Salvation Army will open an Emergency Cold Weather Shelter at 2525 Rucker Avenue, Everett WA 98201. Opened only during life-threatening cold weather conditions, the Salvation Army Emergency Cold Weather Shelter supplements the very limited emergency shelter capacity provided year-round in our community by the Salvation Army and other partner agencies.

The Emergency Cold Weather Shelter will be open to receive guests from 8 pm to 10 pm on these nights. (Public Safety Agencies can drop-off persons needing shelter throughout the night.) The Cold Weather Shelter will close at 7 AM each morning.

A decision to open the Emergency Cold Weather Shelter on subsequent days will be made after the noon weather forecast each day.
