Will Big Boeing Bonuses Bring Buying Blitz to Everett?

February 17, 2011

Everett

Just in time for all of the President’s Day Sales, thousands of workers at Boeing’s Everett Plant are receiving bonuses averaging around five thousand dollars each. The workers are non-union members who work in the commercial and corporate division and are getting about 14 days pay. In all, Boeing will be paying out about 230 million dollars to more than 45,000 employees in Washington State. Members of the Machinists Union are not part of this payout as they each received 1500 dollars back in November as part of their contract.
