Everett Top Foods Closes Tomorrow, 59 of 60 Employees take jobs at other Top/Haggen Stores

Stopped in and had a chat with one of the managers of the Everett Top Foods store today and he confirmed that tomorrow is the last day. He said that 59 out of 60 employees are taking positions at other Top and Haggen Food stores in the area and that the 60th employee decided to go back to school. There’s not very much left inside but I did pick up some screaming deals on AA batteries. We first mentioned the closing last month. Still no word yet on what might be taking over that highly visible spot on Everett Mall Way.
