Everett’s KRKO Radio to interrupt Fox Sports programs to carry Memorial Service Live

KRKO Radio at 1380 on the AM dial will interrupt its regular programming to carry the Memorial service for Monroe Corrections officer Jayme Biendl. The service will be held at Comcast Arena Everett at 1pm. The doors will open to the public beginning at 10:30am. There will be a procession from Monroe to the arena in Everett arriving at approximately 12Noon.

Here are the details regarding the memorial service so far…
(EVERETT, WA) — The correctional officer and law enforcement officer team planning the memorial service for slain Monroe Prison correctional officer Jayme Biendl have released time and other details of the memorial service.

WHERE & WHEN: The service will be held Tuesday Feb. 8 at 1:00 pm at Comcast Arena at Everett, located at 2000 Hewitt Avenue.

TIMING:
10:30 am ~ Motorcade leaves funeral home for Monroe Correctional Complex and Comcast Arena
10:30 am ~ Arena doors open to the public at 10:30 a.m.
12:00 pm ~ Motorcade arrives at Comcast Arena
1:00 pm ~ Memorial starts
3:00 pm ~ Ceremony ends at approximately 3:00 p.m.

ROAD CLOSURES: All Road closures begin at 6:00 a.m.
~ Wall Street between Broadway Avenue and Oakes Avenue
~ Oakes Avenue between Wall Street and Hewitt Avenue
~ Oakes Avenue between Hewitt Avenue and California
~ Rockefeller Avenue between Wall Street and Hewitt Avenue
~ Hewitt Avenue eastbound curb lane only closed from Rockefeller to Broadway
~ Broadway Avenue southbound curb lane only closed between California and Wall Street
~ Broadway Avenue southbound near Memorial Stadium curb lane closed

PUBLIC PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Public parking is available at:

10th Street Boat Launch – Address: 400 10th St. This is located off of W. Marine View Drive. Parking stalls = approximately 600 available

Everett Memorial Stadium – The south lot is available for the public. It is accessed off of 4000 block of Broadway. Parking stalls = approximately 325

Everett Transit Parking – The east lot, located off of 3300 Hill Street. Drive east on 33rd, which turns into the parking lot. Parking stalls = approximately 400

There will be shuttle busses running to and from the above lots beginning at 9:00 a.m.
