Snohomish County’s newly formed economic vitality enterprise (yet to be named) has tapped Troy McClelland as its first CEO. McClelland is a Port of Everett Commissioner who, according to a press release, most recently served as a director of the Fluke Corporation. The former Everett Chamber of Commerce, the former Economic Development Council of Snohomish County and the former South Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce will all combine together under this new organization. McClelland will begin his duties on January 17th and hopefully his first task will be to come up with a name as “economic vitality enterprise” doesn’t roll off the tongue very well. You can read more about “Project Concentrus” here.
