Quick work by Everett Police patrol officers this evening put three Everett men into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of 1st degree armed robbery. According to Everett Police Sgt. Ryan Dalberg, around 5:30pm officers received a call of an armed robbery in the K-Mart parking lot in South Everett. An Everett man reported he was approached by a man who pointed a handgun at him and took property, cash and his wallet. The victim was able to see the man with the gun as well as others in a get-away car and get the license number. That led officers to an Eastmont neighborhood where around 7pm, the car was spotted driving thru a residential area. Officers made a felony stop and detained three men and two women. Police brought the victim to the site of the stop and he was able to identify the three men as those involved in the robbery. They were then taken into custody and police towed the car to their impound lot for processing and recovering evidence including the victim’s property.
