Multiple Vehicles Burned In Storage Yard Fire

April 11, 2021

Everett Fire

The fire was reported at 3 AM with multiple vehicles involved.

About 3 AM Everett Firefighters were called to a storage yard at 36th and Smith Street for a report of vehicles on fire. Smoke could be seen from several blocks away and when firefighters arrived they found a fenced storage yard with multiple RVs, boats and a box truck involved. Crews were able to get the majority of the fires out quickly but the box truck was packed with metal debris and it took the use of chainsaws and circular saws to open the sides and front of the truck to gain access to whatever was burning inside. There were no reports of injury and an investigator has been dispatched to the scene to determine the cause. Here are some MyEverettNews.com photos of the crews at work. Click photo to enlarge.
