Late Saturday morning Everett Police were looking into the circumstances after a body was found along the bank of the Snohomish River. Patrol officers and a detective with the Major Crimes Unit were on the scene.

Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell tells MyEverettNews.com they don’t know if foul play may be involved and are doing a thorough investigation of the scene pending the arrival of the Medical Examiner.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s office will determine the cause and manner of death and provide the identity of the person.

The location was given as near the water utility facility at 36th and Riverfront Drive between the Towns at Riverfront and the Overlook at Riverfront housing development to the south.
