Crews Quickly Contain Fire At South Everett Car Wash

The outbuilding was completely destroyed.

Firefighters work to make sure the fire did not extend into the car wash building.

About ten minutes after 10 o’clock Sunday morning Snohomish 911 began receiving reports of a fire at the car wash behind the Jack In The Box restaurant at Murphy’s Corner on 132nd SE.

Crews from Snohomish County Fire District 7 responded with mutual aid to Everett Fire. Arriving firefighters an outbuilding at the car wash entrance fully involved.

They were able to knock that down and also keep the fire from spreading to the car wash building.

There were no injuries and an investigator from Everett Fire is looking to determine the cause.
