STOP THE HATE AND DO SOMETHING

Community Vigil and Action Plan

Where: Snohomish County Superior Court House – 3000 Rockefeller, Everett, WA

Snohomish County Residents,

Our country is a mass turmoil of misunderstanding, mistrust, and hate. Our local community has to stand united to create healing and prevent this from happening here at home and hopefully around the nation.

The NAACP of Snohomish County will be hosting “Stop the Hate and Do Something” A community vigil for the lives lost in the recent police controversies, and the hateful retaliations against police officers.

This event will also be used to launch a community wide initiative to prevent these situations from happening in our county which will hopefully be used as a model for the greater state of Washington, and possibly the United States.

THIS WILL BE A PEACEFUL AND CONSTRUCTIVE GATHERING FOR EVERYONE.

PLEASE COME OUT TO MOURN #PHILANDOCASTILE, #ALTONSTERLING #BRENTTHOMPSON #PATRICKZAMARRIPA #MICHAELKROL #MICHAELSMITH #LORNEAHRENS

WE WILL BE HAVING A COLLABORATIVE PORITON OF THE EVENT TO COME UP WITH SOLUTIONS AND ACTIONS TO PREVENT THESE THINGS FROM HAPPENING IN THE FUTURE.
