Suspect Killed In Eastmont Home Invasion

One man is dead and another may be wounded following a reported home invasion type robbery in the Eastmont neighborhood of southeast Everett Saturday morning.

About 4:46 AM Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 8700 block of Gothic Way. There was reportedly a shooting after two masked men wearing dark clothing burst into a home. As the men were confronting the residents another person living in the home came out and fired shots. One suspect died at the scene. The other ran off and may have also been shot. A K-9 track was unsuccessful.

Snohomish County Major Crimes detectives are working the case. Everett Police assisted in the initial search but the area is in unincorporated Snohomish County.
