75th street Safeway

The store opens 8:00 AM Wednesday with some familiar faces.

The Cascade High School Marching Band will be playing when the ribbon is cut for the re-opening of the 75th Street Safeway at 7601 Evergreen Way. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 8:00 AM Wednesday (March 30th). In addition to the marching band there will be a check presentation to charity. Returning employees will be honored and new employees welcomed by store director David Carlson. In all the store will employ 160 people.

The store was a Safeway for decades before being bought by Haggen. That lasted about a year and after bankruptcy Albertson’s purchased it and once again a Safeway sits at 75th and Evergreen Way in Everett, Washington.
