USA Women’s Hockey has some of the best female hockey players in the world and for the next several days you can see them at Xfinity Arena in downtown Everett. Here’s a great YouTube video as practice started Friday.
Heading into the 2016 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship, the U.S. Women’s National Team is taking part in a pre-tournament camp at XFINITY Arena in Everett, Washington, now through March 24th.

If you’re the parent of girl interested in hockey Xfinity Arena is a great place to bring your child for inspiration.
Not only are practices open twice a day for free but on Wednesday March 23rd from 6:00pm – 7:00pm there is a “Girls on Ice” clinic with members of the team and from 7:00pm – 7:45pm an autograph session with the team.
After leaving Everett on Thursday night the U.S. will practice in Kamloops, British Columbia, before opening the IIHF Women’s World Championship against rival Canada at 10:30 p.m. ET on March 28 at the Sandman Centre.
The U.S. is the defending champion and has won five of the last six world championships (2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015).
