Everett Police used a quick response by patrol officers and good descriptions from neighbors and other citizens to catch a pair of young men suspected of robbing the Lucky Market on 15th street in north Everett today.

Shortly after 3:30PM Everett Police received a report of a clerk who’d been assaulted and robbed by two suspects who ran from the store.

Everett Police responded both to the store and surrounding neighborhoods and began searching for the suspects.

People who saw the police searching the area called 9-1-1 to report sightings of the two who had split up and were running through yards and jumping over fences.

Neighbors also pointed out to officers the area where one tried to hide. Everett patrol officers followed the tips and were able to take both into custody more than a mile from the store. They also recovered evidence.

The clerk was shaken up but not seriously injured. Detectives are expected to follow up to determine if the two are responsible for other robberies in north Everett.
