Last night the Everett Longshoremen little league team beat northern California to advance to the final game of the West Regional Tournament. If they beat Hawaii tonight they will advance to the 2015 Intermediate 50/70 Baseball World Series in Livermore California next week.

The Everett little league is a merger of South Everett little league and North Everett little league. They are a youth baseball and softball program. You can follow their progress on their Facebook page here. They’re also looking for help in raising funds for travel expenses as they continue to represent Everett and advance to the World Series. If you can help them out that would be great. Here’s a note from their website…

The North Everett Little League Intermediate All-Stars (Everett Longshoremen) are defending their State Championship after a dominating showing in Districts for the third year in a row. We are working to raise enough money to off-set player and coach expenses as the boys travel to Nogales, AZ in an attempt to claim the West Regional title and ultimately play for the Intermediate Little League World Series title in Livermore, CA in August.
