Everett House Fire Likely Started By Squatters

No one was injured and Everett firefighters were able to get a quick stop on a fire at a home in the 3800 block of Grand Avenue Monday evening. Around 6:30PM, 9-1-1 calls began coming in about smoke coming from eaves in a house that was supposed to be vacant.
No one was in the house when fire crews fought the blaze but Everett Fire Marshal Rick Robinson told MyEverettNews.com there were signs of squatters living in the house. Here are a few photos from the scene. Click to enlarge.
