Woman Nearly Drowns At Silver Lake in Everett

Quick work from bystanders, park rangers and personnel from Fire District 1 and the Everett Fire Department will hopefully lead to a positive outcome for a woman who went under at Silver Lake Park Saturday evening. Shortly before 7:00pm came a report of CPR in progress on the beach for a woman who went under in the swim area. Crews from both Fire District 1 and Everett Fire were dispatched. Both departments worked on the victim and she was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett. No details were available on her condition.
