It’s hard to outrun an airplane and police radios.

A motorcyclist who reportedly was going in excess of 100 miles per hour on I-5 learned its hard to run from a Washington State Patrol aircraft. Troopers clocked a motorcycle in Marysville at 100+ and gave chase which led south into Everett from Highway 529. A Washington State Patrol aircraft was overhead and as the bike came into Everett troopers backed off and followed directions given by the airplane. As the motorcyclist began taking side streets in Everett he came upon an Everett Police officer who was able to force the bike to a stop in the 2200 block of Oakes. Troopers and other Everett Police units were not far behind. The rider was taken into custody by Troopers for suspicion of eluding and resisting arrest according to a WSP Sargent on scene.
