A quick knockdown from Everett Firefighters likely saved a house after fire broke out in an attached garage. Shortly after one o’clock this (Thursday) morning flames were reported shooting from the garage at 12 Glenwood Avenue in central Everett. Arriving firefighters quickly gained the upper-hand and kept the fire from spreading into the house. There were no injuries but the family will likely be displaced for a time due to smoke and water damage. An Everett Fire Department investigator was just arriving on scene at the time these photos were taken and a cause for the fire has not yet been determined. We’ll pass it along when that information becomes available.
