Everett Recreational Marijuana Store New Co-Sponsor of Everett’s Fisherman’s Village Music Fest

Today the Everett Music Initiative announced the line-up for its upcoming second annual Fisherman’s Village Music Festival to be held May 16th and 17th at various venues around downtown Everett. New this year Kush Mart, a recreational marijuana retailer located on Evergreen Way in central Everett, is listed on the event’s posters as a co-sponsor. For years beer and liquor companies have been co-sponsoring music events in Everett and elsewhere but with the passage of I-502 and three of five recreational marijuana stores licensed to Everett now open, you can expect to see more sponsorship of events as recreational marijuana moves into Everett’s mainstream. A second sponsor listed on the posters is Leafly which bills itself as the world’s largest cannabis information resource. The festival is a family event with all ages welcome and kids 12 and under free. Two-Day passes are selling for $39.00.
