Stolen Car Chase Begins On I-5, Ends In Landscaping Of Everett Apartments

February 20, 2015

Everett, Police Blotter

Greens

There were a dozen patrol cars from 3 different agencies around the Greens of Merrill Creek.

A Honda driving at a high rate of speed on I-5 in Everett caught the attention of a State Trooper Friday night. What began as a speeding infraction ended with a high speed pursuit and crash after the Honda took off when the trooper tried to stop it. Turns out the Honda had been reported stolen. The chase went from I-5 west on the Boeing Freeway and ended in the landscaping in front of the office of the Greens at Merrill Creek apartments. Several Washington State Troopers, Deputies from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and Police Officers from Everett rounded up at least two of the people in the car. There did not appear to be any injuries. Here are a few pictures of the damage the car made after what had to be a hard landing.
