Teens in Everett Adding Action To Words On MLK Day
MLK Day of Service is underway. In Everett, teens are working at Full Life Care helping to make pet treats and blankets for donation to a local animal shelter. At KSER Radio teen volunteers are sorting and cleaning the entire station. In downtown Everett teens are at Hopeworks getting that site ready to start construction in its new facility. MyEverettNews.com stopped by Thornton A. Sullivan Park at Silver Lake in south Everett where they were cleaning the park, removing invasive species and spreading mulch after a morning briefing that included reading inspirational quotes from Dr. King before starting to work.
