Construction cranes will be a common sight in downtown Everett over the next few years.

Colby Avenue is blocked off between Pacific and Wall Streets today as crews assemble a huge crane to begin erecting the downtown Everett Courtyard by Marriott hotel. The eight story hotel will have 3 levels of underground parking, space for retail shops and 156 guest rooms.
