6 pre-schoolers were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center for observation after the van they were riding in was involved in a crash at Madison and Beverly Lane Tuesday morning. According to Assistant Everett Fire Marshal Eric Hicks, there were 10 kids in the van when it collided with a smaller vehicle. The van ended up on the sidewalk, striking a fire hydrant. Everett Fire brought out a former command vehicle to keep the four kids not sent to the hospital warm and safe. They were then taken to be reunited with their parents. Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell says there did not appear to be any serious injuries and patrol officers are handling the investigation. Here are a few pictures taken at the scene.
