Witnesses Wanted in School Bus Crash South of Everett

Last Monday we showed you pictures from a crash on Highway 99 involving an empty school bus and a Volvo about a mile and a half south of Everett that tied up the afternoon commute. Today the Washington State Patrol is looking for anyone who witnessed that crash. Here’s the request from WSP Trooper Mark Francis…

The Washington State Patrol is investigating the school bus-car serious injury collision that took place at approximately 3:09 p.m. last Monday, September 8, 2014. The crash occurred in the 13300 block of State Route 99 north of Lynnwood. A passenger vehicle driver was making a left turn from northbound 99 across stopped southbound traffic towards a business driveway when it was struck by an Edmonds School District bus being driven on the southbound shoulder. The collision sent four people to area hospitals.

Detectives are interested in talking to anyone with knowledge of the collision or of any events leading up to it.
