Crashes Make For Rough Monday Afternoon Commute North to Everett

September 8, 2014

Police Blotter

An Edmonds school bus and a Volvo collided about a mile and a half south of Everett on Highway 99 and tied up traffic in both directions for 2 hours Monday afternoon. There were no students on the bus but the driver was taken to a local hospital to be checked out while 2 passengers in the Volvo were taken to Harborview. Then shortly after 5:00pm a crash on northbound I-5 just before the Snohomish River Bridge tied up traffic and backed up I-5 to 75th street. No word on how serious the injuries were there but it made for a long commute. Here are a few pictures from the Hwy 99 crash. Click photo to enlarge.
