Adjourn Everett Transportation Benefit District Board of Directors Meeting

In June, as part of the city’s deficit reduction plan, the Everett City Council agreed to form the Everett Transportation Benefit District to raise money for street repair projects within the city limits. This can be done two ways. By either raising license tab fees by up to $20 per vehicle registered in Everett or by an increase in the general sales tax. From the agenda, it appears the Everett City Council aka the Everett Transportation Benefit District will only be discussing the license tab option. The Everett City Council Meeting is set for Wednesday night at 6:30pm in the council chambers at 3002 Wetmore. You can also view it online and on the city’s cable access channel.
