Hoyt shots fire call

Everett Police found shell casings, witnesses but no victims in a shots fired call in the 2200 block of Hoyt Avenue in north Everett Wednesday evening. According to Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell, around 7:15pm, several people called 9-1-1 to report a person had come out of a house in the 2200 block of Hoyt and fired multiple shots from a handgun at a car driving by. The suspect then went back toward the house and the car sped off. Officers responded, blocked off the street and called the occupants out of the house. They then searched the house to make sure no one there was injured and conducted a K-9 search for the suspect who was not located. While police recovered several shell casings from the street in front of the house, the people in the car that was fired upon have yet to report the incident to police and there haven’t been any reports of injuries. Snell says the case is currently under investigation. Here are a few pictures taken at the scene.
