Two teams from Everett Rowing are headed to Nationals
A beautiful day like today makes you appreciate the water and nobody appreciates the water more than members of the Everett Rowing Association who passed along some great news today…
The Everett Rowing Association Junior Team just returned from our District Championships, where we qualified 2 crews to travel to the National Championships.

Boy’s Lightweight 4 oared shell:

History: Everett Rowing won this event in 2009 at the National Championships.

History: Everett Rowing last qualified in this event in 2009. Everett Rowing’s best finish in the event was in 2005, when the Varsity finished 2nd.
Everett Rowing is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year.
Everett Rowing is comprised of:
- 80 High school athletes
- 25 Middle School athletes
- 50 Adult athletes
The Everett Rowing Association partners with the Everett Parks Department to provide rowing opportunities for youths and adults in the greater Everett Area. The team trains on the Snohomish River out of the Langus Park Shellhouse year round.
For the past 15 years, Everett Rowing has sent multiple crews to the National Championships. Everett Rowing won the Girls Ltwt 8 in 2001, the Boys Ltwt 8 in 2008 and the boys Ltwt 4 in 2009.
The 2014 USRowing Youth National Championships will be held on Lake Natoma, in Sacramento, CA from June 13-15, 2014. Lake Natoma is the site of Pac 12 Conference Rowing Championships, as well as the NCAA Women’s Rowing Championships in 1997, 1999, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2011.

Rowing is a physically demanding sport that encourages teamwork and camaraderie while training on a beautiful body of water.
