Everett School Bond Levy Failing in Early Returns

So far there are not enough yes votes for the measure to pass.

The initial returns for the Everett Schools $259 million bond issue show it is failing. In order to pass they need a minimum turnout of 11,546 ballots cast and at least 60% yes vote. The 8pm returns from the Snohomish County auditor show 16,013 ballots received so far but the Yes percentage is at 57.30% and the No percentage is 42.70%. More ballot numbers will be released Wednesday night at 5pm.
