Police Blotter

Everett Police crime scene tape In case you were wondering about the police activity we were tweeting about Saturday afternoon, here’s the scoop in the form of a press release from Snohomish County Sheriff’s Lt. Kathi Lang…

Woman arrested after short pursuit in Everett.

Today at about 1:45 PM a Snohomish County Deputy saw a vehicle on 112 Street SE near 7th Avenue SE in Everett with a male passenger known to have a felony warrant. The Deputy tried to stop the vehicle but it fled northbound on 7th Avenue. The pursuit was quickly terminated by a Patrol Sergeant. The suspect vehicle then struck two cars stopped for traffic at Everett Mall Way, causing minor injuries to the occupant of one of the vehicles.

All three occupants of the fleeing vehicle ran from the scene. The female driver and a female passenger were located, but the male passenger is still outstanding. The two females were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver is expected to be booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Felony Eluding. It was later determined the vehicle they were in had been reported stolen from the city of Bothell.

There is no further information on the occupants of the fleeing vehicle.
