Everett Silvertips

The Everett Silvertips have to win or go home this Friday night in downtown Everett.

United Way Slide fund

Over $200,000.00 has already been raised in donations to the United Way fund

Donations from ticket sales, smashing a T-Bird prior to the game and events inside the arena are all ways the Everett Silvertips will be raising money for the Oso Slide Relief Friday Night at Comcast Arena in Downtown Everett. Here’s the word from the ‘Tips…

The Everett Silvertips are preparing to host Game 4 of our first-round WHL playoff series against the rival Seattle Thunderbirds in the “Sea of Green” Friday night at 7:35 pm at Comcast Arena, presented by Mountain Pacific Bank.  In light of the tragic Oso mudslide last weekend, we’re also using the game as an opportunity for Silvertips fans to contribute to the relief efforts assisting our Snohomish County neighbors who have been affected.

The donations raised by the Silvertips at Friday’s game will go to support the recently-established Disaster Recovery Fund for Mudslide Relief through United Way of Snohomish County.

When you Click Here to purchase lower-level seats to Friday’s Game 4 vs. Seattle, $6 from every $22 ticket purchased will be donated to the mudslide relief fund.  Purchased normally online, the same ticket would cost at least $25.50 for a great view to watch the ‘Tips battle the T-Birds in hard-hitting WHL playoff action.

Before Friday’s game, you’ll have the chance to take your own shot at the T-Birds with our Seattle Thunderbirds car smash outside Comcast Arena off Hewitt Avenue.  Starting at 6:00 pm and running until just before the puck drops at 7:30, a donation to the mudslide relief fund gives you the opportunity to take a swing at a Thunderbirds-themed car!  Bring your cash and help set the tone for the Silvertips with a smashing good time prior to Game 4.

If you already have tickets to the game and simply want to make a donation to benefit mudslide relief, we’ll also be collecting donations at the Silvertips Guest Services Booth located behind Section 116 on the concourse.

The Silvertips will be looking to turn the tide in the series Friday night in Game 4, facing a 3-0 series deficit and needing a win to extend their season to a fifth game Saturday night in Kent.  After outshooting Seattle 66-38 in two losses to start the series, the ‘Tips and T-Birds traded blows in Tuesday’s dramatic 4-3 overtime defeat in Game 3.  Everett will now look to rally in the series with a do-or-die matchup Friday on home ice.
