Holly Ann Grigsby will spend the rest of her life behind bars.

Our news partner, The Seattle Times, reported this afternoon that Holly Ann Grigsby has pleaded guilty to federal charges in a three state crime spree that started with the murders of Leslie (Dee Dee) Pederson and her husband Red Pedersen at their home in the Everett Mobile Country Club in south Everett back in September of 2011. The case was going to be prosecuted locally until Federal authorities took over the prosecution in 2012. By that time Snohomish County Prosecutor Mark Roe said he’d decided against the death penalty for Grigsby. After they took over the case, U.S. Attorney Eric Holder also declined to seek the death penalty.
