Everett Economy to get “Boeing Bonus Boost” Week Ending January 25th

With the 51% Yes vote of the 777x contract comes a $10,000.00 bonus to IAM 751 machinists working in Everett and the other plants in Puget Sound. According to the following post by Mark Johnson, IAM Aerospace Coordinator, on the IAM751 website Boeing will pay out that bonus the week ending January 25th….

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

In response to questions from members, I have today confirmed that the $10,000 signing bonus checks will be distributed to members on the week ending January 25, 2014. This payout represents the first portion of the two-part $15,000 signing bonus contained in the contact extension that was ratified January 3, 2014. An additional bonus payment of $5,000 will be distributed in January 2020.

The total Boeing bonus payout will be 320 million dollars with a significant amount of that coming to Everett.
