The Port of Everett is looking for a short-term commissioner

The Port of Everett is looking for qualified candidates to serve on the Everett Port Commission until the general election is certified in November. This week the commissioners accepted the resignation of Michael Hoffman. He revealed earlier this month that he is no longer living in district 3. While he and the other two commissioners had asked for a ruling from the county prosecutor on whether he could continue to serve, that point became moot with his resignation. If you’re interested in serving, contact John Mohr at the Port of Everett right away as they hope to fill the vacancy as soon as possible.
