Stuff the Bus for Kids is Back This Month in Everett

Once again this year the Everett Public Schools Foundation is gathering supplies to make sure every kid in the Everett School District has what they need to start the year off right. If you’re out shopping for your kids, pick up a few extra things to help or if your kids are grown, consider making a donation via credit card.

1. Sponsor a filled backpack or set of backpacks, we will do the shopping!

Average value of filled backpacks is $50.00. Go to our website and click on the PayPal button to donate.

2.VOLUNTEER! All bus sites and times on Friday, August 16th and Sunday, August 18th are open for volunteers to accept donations. Saturday, August 17th is Boeing Volunteer Day! Also, help stuff the backpacks on August 21st, 22nd and 23rd. Please contact kdutton@everettsd.org to sign up for both opportunities.

Please join our partners, Boeing, World Vision, Durham School Services, Fred Meyer, Everett AquaSox, NW Plus Credit Union, Everett Association of Paraeducators and Molina Healthcare in this effort to make sure that no child is without needed school supplies. We have requests for 1,650 filled backpacks from our schools. Together, we will work to meet this goal so that our students have the tools needed to be successful! Delivery will be in time for the 2013-2014 school year.
