Early Morning Shooting of Everett Woman Remains a Mystery

Everett Police would like to talk to anyone who heard or saw anything unusual between 2:45am and 3:15am early Saturday morning near the 2200 block of Fulton in North Everett. According to Everett Police Lt. Robert Goetz, a woman called 9-1-1 shortly after 3:00am and reported she’d been shot. When police and firefighters arrived they found the woman conscience and alert with what appeared to be three gunshot wounds.

The woman, who was the 911 caller, was able to tell the officers that she was laying on her couch when she heard what she thought were fireworks outside. When she got up to investigate she discovered that she had been shot.

The woman was treated at the scene by Everett Fire personnel before being transport to a local hospital. Her condition today is unknown however it is believed that her injuries are not life threatening.

Since the shooting officers and investigators have talked to several people about the incident. As of yet, no probable cause has been established for any ones arrest. Officers did discover several bullet holes in the building however it has not been established exactly how many rounds were fired. No one else was injured in the shooting.
