787 Technical Workers in Everett May Soon Be Getting Lay Off Notices – The Seattle Times

Our news partner, The Seattle Times, is reporting that technical workers and engineers on the 787 program may soon be getting layoff notices. Here’s the link to their story written by Dominic Gates. Last month machinists union members were notified that their ranks may be reduced as well. While there are currently 42,000 employees at the various Boeing facilities around Everett, this may be the start of a steady reduction in the Everett workforce.
