Divers enter the water in the search for Richard Grimes

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner this afternoon issued a cause and manner of death and identified the person who drown in Silver Lake on Friday. The ME said the victim was 49-year-old Richard Grimes of Everett. They said the cause of death was drowning and the manner of death was accident. The Everett Police Dive Team, assisted by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s office located Grimes body Saturday morning. Witnesses had seen Grimes struggling in the water late Friday morning and called 9-1-1.

    he was my bio father,i didnt know him well but i know he was always on the water.so its just wierd,he must have got caught on something,he knew how to swim plus we both grew up on silver lake so we know how calm the water usually is.i just wonder what exactly happened
