UPDATE: 9:00am: I had a chance to speak with KING 5 reporter Jake Whittenberg who was at the Economic Alliance Snohomish County event where Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon announced his resignation. The announcement came at the end of Reardon’s State of the County Address. Jake says the room went silent when Reardon announced his resignation and also called for an independent investigation of himself and all of the allegations against him. You can see and hear more at KING 5’s website and Whittenberg will have a full report at 12noon on KING 5 TV.
