Everett Police wrapped up a two month undercover investigation at two Grab-N-Go coffee stands today arresting 3 bikini baristas for violating Everett’s Adult Cabaret Laws. The investigation began as a result of citizen complaints. “Citizens complained that these locations served more than just coffee,” said Lt. James Duffy of the EPD criminal intelligence unit. “Indeed, our investigation uncovered exhibition and exposure which is outside the confines of the law.” Duffy also said that they have video surveillance that showed baristas doing shows for customers but not making any drinks. They did however reportedly accept money. The stands involved are located on Everett Mall Way near 4th Ave. W. and on Broadway at 21st. More arrests are possible and Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell says detectives will look into all aspects of the case to determine if the coffee stand owners are involved. The coffee stands remain open.

Adult entertainment in Everett is regulated thru licensing and zoning and is allowed only in a tiny part of the industrial area of Everett.
