Everett Police Investigating Report of Female Body Found off Colby Ave. – Updated 1:26pm

Everett Police major crime detectives have spent the better part of the morning going over a site in the 4300 block of Colby at the far north end of the Interurban Trail. Everett Fire and Police were called to a report of a body found in that area around daylight this morning. Everett police have confirmed that a body was found and has been turned over to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner. Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell says in their press release that the body is that of a female and it does not appear foul play was involved. It will be up to the ME to determine the cause and manner of death. We’ll let you know more as soon as the Medical Examiner’s office releases their findings.
